3 days out of surgery--is that my stomach growling?

I can't tell if my stomach is growling or it is simply gas pains...anybody else have this problem of not being able to tell difference? Any suggestions for liquid diet phase?

Mine growled, gurgled, and made a crap ton of noise for the first few weeks after surgery. I think this is a big part of it becoming accustomed to the staple line, the less room, the healing process, etc. After a few weeks, it subsided, and it's mostly quiet now unless I eat something that it doesn't like (jalapenos) or I go too long without eating.

had the same feeling it will go

Just enjoy fluids

I've been enjoying crushed ice with flavoured toppings

Having my 3 whey Protein shakes a day

I'm 3.4 weeks post op and feeling fabulous

132kg pre op

Now 113kg post

It will get better just keep the protein and fluids going

Google recipes plenty of beautiful Fluid shakes out there I made a pinacalada one last week went down well
