I'm meeting with the GI nutritionist January 30th. looking to get the gastric sleeve done. I'm from Wilkes-Barre pa and was hoping someone in that area had it done and had Geisinger insurance and can let me know what to expect. Is there a long wait time?

I am also from the Wilkes Barre area ! I too have GHP I had my first appointment 1/9 .... I have to do 6 month supervised program! I am waiting on results of sleep apnea test to see where we go from there! Geisinger still set me up with an apt for Feb . to make sure I have my monthly visits in.

I just found out today about the 6 month's of supervised program. I called the Insurance Company and asked a lot of questions!

When you get the post-op diet stuff, I'd love to get a copy. I had my surgery on 2/20/2009. I'd like to 'reboot' and do some pre-op diets again, but I loaned my notebook to someone (many people through the years) when they were pre-op, but I can't recall who the last person was
