I have decided to get the procedure done - just have to save up for it. I live in uk and want to go to Brussels as it seems cheapest and safest there. Anyone know of the above?

gillian, thanks for that, thats what it feels like its as if my stomach is pushing upwards to my band, so think i will take ur advise. I dont feel unwell or anything, sure it will do no harm with the weightloss anyway.

just make sure its not cider lollies!..mind you i have heard that cider vinegar helps with swelling..but yuck!? try apple juice.icy cold though..youll be fine tomorrow i bet, but just take it easy then too. x

Hi Everyone,

Thanks Flirty for meeting me today. It's great to meet someone in the flesh that is living testiment that the band does work, even though I know you said you had no restriction. Like you I'm hoping it will click something mentally!!

I just called Wendy in WLS. She is so nice. I was on the phone for 40mins with her. It's £699 for a 12month aftercare package which includes dietician, fills, trouble shooting etc. She seems to be genuinely interested in helping people. She said she'd give me 3ml on my first fill (6wks post op) then 2ml then another 2ml by which time she really feels I'll have found my sweetspot. She said I can go to see her twice in a month, in Belfast and Dublin. I'm really much happier now knowing I will have help at the end of the phone. Not forgetting all you guys, which is an invaluable source of knowledge. Are all of you using WLS happy with them?

Hi gillian i managed to get hold of colleen today and she said the same!!! she won't fill me till 6 weeks!!! so i think i will keep my appointment with dr chris as there is only 2 days between his appointment and hers! then i can go for my second fill with her 2 weeks later!!!

She also said i should still be on liquids even though i'm on week three!!!!???????
