Hi Carrie, glad you and the bump are doing well, when is baby going to be born? (Was gonna say she then )

You know what.... its very odd, I havent lost anymore weight and yet my clothes are definitely looser.

I know you can lose inches and not pounds, so as long as this carries on I dont care about the weight. lol, well I do a bit.

Julie I've never heard of a double-fill, maybe its where he puts so much in, then you drink Water and if it goes down ok he puts more in, and I couldnt for the life of me see why you'd have to pay twice hunny, so i wouldnt worry about that.

Hi Sussie

I had my first fill today with Fred. He put in 3cc. I couldn't look at the needle when he was finding the port, but it wasn't too bad. It did feel weird going in though 'cause I could feel the band getting tighter. Have to go back onto liquids for 2 days and have lost 9kg since the op.

Hi Sussie

I'm going for my first fill on 10th too. I've lost the paperwork Fred gave us with the fill info. Could you give me the address of the place we go?

Many thanks.

Hi Freckles

Thanks for that i dunno where i got it from either lol must have dreamt it whats the usual first amount they put in everyone seems to have such varying amounts i just want it done now i seem to have stopped losing with a suddend jolt it s drivin me mad now its only been a slow loss but i was happy with it but now nothing hopefully the fill will get me kick started again and for the life of me i just cannot get a ticker to load onto my page.

You could but i think that you would be better off trying to have Soups you make yourself, i know that you get all your minerals etc from cambridge but you have to be able to drink them in a certain amount of time before they go funny and i dont think that you would be able to do that straight after your band. If you are having to tip them away then you will not get anywhere near the amount of calories you need. Also if you are having this surgery then i would use it as a reason to never have to think about having to drink any diet related shake for the rest of your life!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
