Preoperative diet

Hi I am due to get my band on the 4th of February my starting BMI is 33 I am in the slim fast pre op diet which is 3 shakes a day about 600 calories. I feel like that is not enough as I have seen other diets which are more??

NYU dietician suggested up to six premier Protein shakes and 2 cups of vegetables a day. 2 tbsp fat free dressing.

coffee with artificial sweetener and skim milk, sugar free popsicles.

No carbs.

I lost 10 pounds in two weeks and was never hungry. Those shakes are the best ones IMO.

It doesn't so much matter what other people's diets are. You really need to follow your doctor's rules whatever they may be.
