22 days post op sleeve and feeling awful

Recommended Posts

For the last few days I've felt more and more 'odd' I want to sleep all the time as I'm exhausted after just one visit to the shop. I have no appetite for anything but forcing myself to eat Soup s and yogurt. I am ok with Fluid but only ice cold tap Water which I'm having sips of through the day. My weight has remained the same for two days now. I had a sweat for no real reason this morning whilst out shopping and felt really nauseous so came home and went to bed. Anyone else feeling the same or am I doing something wrong ?

You mention Soup and yogurt. Are you not drinking your Protein Shakes? Protein and Water are the most critical things right now. Are you taking your Vitamins?

I was sleeved December 13th. I get tired fairly easily too, honestly. But it's not an overall awful feeling though. Light cardio helps me keep my energy up...and Water with Syntrax Protein powders (Crystal Sky flavor) in it helps with getting my Protein in. And I put unflavored protein in everything. And Fiber. Oh yes, my fiber...I love it so.

It is normal to feel tired. It is also normal for your weight to remain unchanged. Just try and maintain your Protein and Water goals..

I've smashed my Proteins daily and I can't tell anyone enough what a difference it's made, more energy, less nausea and starting to feel well again. Three weeks today since my surgery and I feel great. Thanks everyone for your help and comments. SW 25.2 stones TW 22.2 stones

You also may want to check your Iron levels, for me that is a big key because even before surgery I was anemic, so I have to watch that closely

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
