I was sleeved oct 14th. No challenges really. Until now. I'm one of the few (it seems) that dumps. I've literally used my own phase "shit the bed!). I've always found it funny, until now. Cuz I've officially done it twice. Not alone. With my partner. On the couch. Blah blah blah. Now my daughter had a friend stay over and there is shit everywhere!

P.S - make matters worse, I'm one of those out of control clean freaks! Ohhhh.. and my boyfriend, yeah he's 15 years younger than me. I'm 45.

Any suggestions? Paleeeese!

I get the whole dumping syndrome too. So I just don't have sugar at all. Or just a very low tiny amount. But I just get an upset stomach and sweats and stuff like that. I was sleeved 10/21/16. I hope this helps you somewhat. But don't just look for sugar. look for other sugar too. Sugar alcohols, sacrulose (spelling could be wrong), high fructose corn Syrup, and so on

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. It's not just sugar for me, it can be sauces like Honey Mustard Salad Dressing or the grease something was cooked in also sauce on chicken wings. I have to be very careful what I eat. I also can not eat and drink at the same time. Mainly because it fills me up quick but it will also make me dump if I eat something like bread or cake.

For the record, this is NOT Dumping Syndrome. This is just the shits. XD Dumping syndrome is just intense pain in the intestines~

I'm also not sure this has anything to do with sugar. You might be lactose intolerant? A lot of people have problems post surgery with milk, especially if you were sensitive before surgery. Or it could have to do with oils in what you're eating; fatty oils might make things slide through you a bit more uhhh....lubricated.....

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
