Has anyone had problems having the gastric sleeve after a previous Hernia repair with mesh

I go for my surgery on the 19th...I had a ventral hernia repair with mesh in 2010. My surgeon said that might be a problem, he has to see if he can get under it. Has anyone had a gastric sleeve after previous hernia surgery?

I had an umbilical hernia repaired September 2014. I had gastric bypass surgery done on 12/21/16. My surgeon only expressed concern about scar tissue surrounding the Hernia repair. There were no issues during the surgery. You should be fine!

Thank you...I am freaking out thinking he may not be able to complete the surgery...so close to my date I don't need any complications.
