1/2 way to normal in 11 weeks!

  • Popular Post

I can't believe it! At 154 I will be in a normal BMI range and as of today I am more than halfway there!! Sleeved on Oct 11.

This has not been an easy journey and I hope that folks who are still pre op will be conscious that this was definitely not as simple as get sleeved then magically lose weight, and my BMI was lower than many who get surgery so i didn't have quite as much to lose to start with. It has been rough, but I NEVER would've lost this weight without it. It usually takes me about 3-4 months to lose my first 20 lbs (slow loser) and I've lost more than double that in less than 3 months!

This surgery has completely changed my life and I cannot wait to get to a healthy weight. I know that at 155 all of my old "skinny" (skinny for me anyway) clothes will fit and once I get there I will still be working to get to my goal weight but I will be comfortable in my skin again. I can't believe I'm halfway there already!!
