Perfect pants for women after surgery!

Recommended Posts

I had to share the best thing I have found to wear after surgery. I am down 3 sizes and am broke so I can't afford to buy a ton of clothes. I have been living in these leggings and tunics from Amazon, the leggings are very similar to LuLaRoe but half the price! They will fit all sizes to like a 12 and don't need replacing like regular pants. The tunics also fit a wide range of sizes, I am down 47 pounds and still am wearing the same ones I bought right after surgery.

I just throw on some riding boots and a necklace and I look put together even though I feel like I am wearing my jammies. Hope this helps someone.

At under $25.00 per outfit you can't beat the price. I buy lots of cloths from "Sammy dress" shipping from China takes a while but I got 11 items including two dresses for about $80.00 including shipping and the quality was good to excellent. Be aware that the sizes are crazy. I wore a 5X in their sizing last time I shopped there.

The plus leggings fit from size 14-24, I linked those up above. When you first get them you will think there is no way they will fit because they look tiny. I put them on like pantyhose, bunch them up and slide them up. They also kind of compress the jiggle a little bit. As I lose the weight I am so jiggly, it is kind of uncomfortable.

The regular leggings fit from size 0-12

I buy from Aliexpress. It's also China. I've gotten clothes I adore (including a bathing suit that covers all my skin folds) for great prices, but adult clothes are 2-3 sizes smaller than US sizes. I'm an 8 in US, but XL in China. I love the shoes there, and I get kids clothes there all the time.

Wow. I buy all my stuff from LuLaRoe and it does work magically at fitting no matter what size. But sounds like your options are more cost effective!

These feel just like LLR. I have a bunch of LLR and it was killing me to spend that much. I switched to these and now have several friends and family hooked on them. The only difference is these don't have a yoga waistband.

I have twice now gotten tops on s"Sammy dress" for under $10.00 that I saw in Boutique shops for over $75.00. Also a bathing suit with built in tummy flattening and an underwire bra for $6.00!

But you can't beat Amazon for fast delivery.

Any advice on what to do with bras and holding the girls in place with all the transitions? I am having a hard time finding bras that fit well.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
