The transition to solid food especially meats can be rough. I found the best way to eat chicken was to make it extremely tender. Take a chicken breasts and put it in a covered pot with Water and a bouillon cube and then cook it slow for a couple hours until the meat comes easily apart with a fork.

..I'm in soft food and sometimes I have to pureed a little..the liquid to pureed was kinda rough..so kinda was a little fearful to go to solids in a week

Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

I did liquids the 1st 10 days after surgery. Tomorrow I start my next 10 days on purées. Basically mushy food. Then I can start normal food.
