Hi. At the beginning of my journey. I will be going to seminar in two weeks. Just wanted to get a heads up on what is expected and a rough estimate on how long the process takes.

I live in central MA and have masshealth. I started the program at st.vincents in February, and had surgery Oct 5th. I had to attend 1 on 1 nutrition appointments, 6 weekly group appointments, a couple psyc appointments and had to be up to date on all my other health things (physical, pap...etc). It was a quick process for me. I still attend monthly support meetings. Masshealth gave me no problems.

As a side note, I could have had surgery at the end of august, early september, but I was going to be out of the country and had to much going on. Hope that helps

Yes it helps very much. Was hoping to do this in 3 months but it looks like more like 6-7 months. Wish I could do it quicker, but the surgery is worth the wait. Thank you again for your input. And I hope all is going well with you
