Why I just ordered a new Spider ski suit in size 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That thrills me to no end. The pants fit, I can bend over, I can fall, but they fit snug. So in 10 pounds, they will be perfect.

YAHOOO, see you on the slopes.

Hey guys! Thought I would check back in with you all. I have lost a couple more pounds lately! Slow and steady as she goes! My next goal is 159 lbs. I started out at 318 and when I get to 159 I will be half of the body I once was! How awesome is that? My ultimate goal is 155, but for now I've got my heart set on 159!

18 to go!!!

Wow Kim, I didn't know your stats before, you deserve a great big hug.

What an inspiration you are!

It just amazes me that I am only 13 pounds overweight. Even when part of me doesn't believe I will ever make goal, somewhere in the back of my brain, I know it will happen, if I make it.

Cheers to all of us. My last fill really helped things move along. I think this will be it for me.

Thanks so much Paulax! You deserve a big hug too, you are doing awesome! Congrats on reaching the 180s! I hope those last 13 pounds just melt away. It is hard to believe that we have come this far isn't it? Congrats again and thanks again!

go Paulax, Kim and Argon!!! Ya'll are doing GREAT! I love coming into this section of the board- everyone here is truly an inspiration!

how many times have you adjusted your goal (if any?) I've never weighed below 170 as an adult (I'm 5'9"); I set 145 as my goal but don't know if that's too thin.

I am kind of in the process now of changing my goal. I am thinking of setting it higher. My original goal was around 175. I am thinking 180 might be a 'good enough' place for me. ???? I feel thinish, look thinish. ???? I guess I will know when I get there.

Recently some of my size 12 pants are getting big. I can pull them down without undoing them and they look saggy in the ass. I don't really know if I WANT to be a size 10. Really, I don't. I am not aiming for a supermodel size, I feel good. It is a hard call mcgreen.

I might have my band loosened .2cc or so and just see where the weight settles. So for me anything under 180 will feel like goal. But, like Jachut, perhaps, I will just stay at that weight for 6 months and then drop some more. But I am starting to feel mostly done.

So for me, I have just started to adjust my goal, but for the heavier, not the lighter.

thanks for replying :) I'm certain you will reach your goal- whatever that number ends up being! I guess its good to have a general goal and as you get close- adjust based upon how you are looking / feeling? That seems a bit hard to do since when I look in the mirror- I still see 340 lbs. The brain will catch up sooner or later.

Good luck!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
