Thrush does seem to happen after weight loss surgery. Call your doctor.

That does sound like Thrush and is common. Just see your doctor.

my friend had a white tongue and they treated her for thrush and It didn't work..come to find out she was severely dehydrated. had to be put on a banana bag I think that is what she called it. (iv fluids)

that happened to me too. I use a tongue scraper but hadn't for a week or so since I was off work, it all scraped off and hasn't come back.

I think its from not eating anything that would normally "clean" your tongue.
