i was in the hospital with the sleeve, 8 hours outpatient. I took one pain pill at home. They do warn you not to lift anything for a few days.

I had my hernia repair and sleeve surgery monday the 24th. The air bubbles seem to want to go right to the hernia site. They sit there and are very painful. I get up to walk to get them to move around and out. Right now i barely notice sleeve surgery just hernia. Its super tight and full of air.

I did, as well. For me, it was a difficult recovery for the first 5 days after surgery. I could barely drink anything. My throat was very sore as I developed really bad acid. I'm still dealing with the acid and my voice has not returned to normal. The pain is much better, and I'm able to drink now. So, it's getting better.

Hey! I had a three as well on 10/10. Took me three weeks to heal to the point I can get back to working. I had to get extra pain meds and felt my recovery took so much longer than other folks talk about here. I still can't do everything yet.

How are you feeling? Any nausea, trouble eating?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
