Return of Gastroparesis?

I'm almost 2 years post-op (Dec'14) and had Gastroparesis before my surgery. Once I recovered, the Gastroparesis was gone - yay! However, the past month or so I've noticed some of the symptoms I had before - the pain, bloating, nausea, constipation, etc. I have also gained 25 lbs in less than 2 months and have been swollen everywhere.
I saw my surgeon today and he is going to do an upper GI, but he mentioned it could be Gastroparesis rearing its head again. I thought the part of the stomach that causes it was removed?
Has anyone else had Gastroparesis return? If so, how did you treat it - same as before, or another surgery?
