Good luck! I've been fine up until today. I have a bit of nausea and a slight headache. Have not felt hunger at all. Although food commercials don't help haha

Yeah, I have a DVR do I can fast forward commercials. When I get hungry, I have chicken broth and that satisfies it.

I find the chicken broth makes me sick. It started in the hospital so I've just been doing premier shakes, Jello and cream Soup.

Today's the day -- getting ready to head over for 11:30am surgery. A bit anxious -- but mostly to get it over.

I just got my phone call from the hospital. My surgery is scheduled for 10.15, so I'm nbr 2 that day. It just got real. They told me about the preparations I need to do over the weekend and monday morning. Only 3 more nights to go!

I'm Nov 22nd....and very nervous. Anyone else's doctor NOT require a liquid diet prior to surgery?

I was not required to do a liquid diet either... I thought it was weird and ask them about it and they said they rather you get used to eating like you were supposed to....so you're prepared for after surgery... to eat correctly...

They required a bariatric diet which consists of meat... veggies...and fruit... and only Water and Crystal light (sugar free drinks) to drink... also sugarfree Popsicles... limit to three a day... I have surgery on November 21, 2016....

There is a Facebook page specifically for bariatric support for anybody that has their surgery in November etc. if you want to join???

I'm doing okay. I went in for RNY and had to the sleeve because my intestines are twisted. I'm being discharged today since I'm doing okay walking and drinking Water. Can't bend over to get my shoes on so will need to ask a nurse for help. Just waiting for my sister to come get me.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
