Whatever gave you the idea that people who receive Medicare have not worked????? People who receive Medicare worked for many years and paid into the Medicare system in order to recover their hard earned money when they reach retirement age--or sooner if disabled.

Make me really upset that people with Medicaid and Medicare pay less than the people who work Hard with insurance !!! System all messed up.
