Gastric Sleeve scheduled for 10/6 worried about my 22 month old

I will be having my sleeve done on Thursday ... nervous and scared all at once... my concern now is my 22 month old son... he weighs 35lbs ...he loves mommy time and snuggles. My surgeon said I won't be able to pick him up for about 3 months which I understand... but what about hugging and cuddling? Will that put me at risk?

Your incisions may hurt for a few days, but hugs (loose) and kisses from family helped me more than they hurt. You will be able to modify the things you do. Just don't overdo too soon. I did that last Sunday. Not good.

Good luck with your surgery!
