United Healthcare + random questions

How long did it take you to get approved?!

I'm impatient and submitting everything WEDNESDAY!!! (Can you tell I've been waiting for this?!)

Does it make a difference how long it takes and the surgery of choice?

    I had United Healthcare through Tricare West and it took my approval about 3 days for RNY. I did have to follow up with the scheduler through the hospital though..they said it was not approved yet and I had to hand carry a copy of the approval to them in order to get on the surgery schedule.
