Burning stomach ache 6 days after lap band removal

Is it normal to have a nauseating, burning stomach ache about a week after lap band removal? I felt sick before eating and after eating a soft diet as recommended by MD. Has anyone been experiencing this? It feels similar to stomach flu. It's mostly upper stomach discomfort.

I had my bsnd taken out a year ago and never felt any discomfort other then sore around incisions. I would for sure contact Dr office just to make sure everything is ok.

Good luck ;-)
