Bulge under incision-dr drained "blood clot" but back! (Have to hold/pain)

Hi, Virgin poster here:

12th day post-since day 1 upper left incision area (a lil to the right of it) always super painful, esp getting up/down&leaning back or touching it & area belly raised from bloodclot per dr.

4 days after went to dr and was told blood clot and opened incision and burst it (lots o blood) and given antibiotics. 1st time I felt a lil relief but not much. (Kept bleeding had dressing changed 2 days in row). Clot came back was told 2 days ago at follow-up. no tests needed, was told will drain naturally. Still wearing stomach binder.

Anyone else have this issue? Tyvm!

Addy info if needed: I Did have violent dry heaving in hospital, while trying to sit up about 6 times (could that do damage?), had fever 1 day in hosp (given prednisone and antibiotic drip etc.) and to this day feels like back hurts and very full after each sip...still on liquids-mostly scoop unfl protien in my Water til i get enough fluids.

Was this after a Sleeve or Gastric bypass?

Wow sorry to hear this. I am just recovering from a total Hysterectomy. Had 2 incisions that fester ed and drained. One is pretty much closed up. The navel area incision is being stubborn. Was on 2 different antibiotics. I am consudering Duodenum Switch. They won't do it til my incision is no longer draining. Take care

Hi, ty for responding. I had the Sleeve. You have been through alot too, so maybe draining is normal. Good luck to you!
