Trachea and sleeve

I am in process of getting sleeve done. I also have a tracheotomy. The dr has done procedure before on trachea patients. I am possibly going in for endoscopy tomorrow but have been told that I may end up on ventilator for just this procedure. I'm worried is the risk worth the benefits. Lung dr seems to think so.
