Protein intake

Please tell me what is everybody eating as far as Protein, not including Protein shakes? I'm 6-7 weeks post op and I'm having problems getting it in. Everything is really too sweet for and it stinks. I'm nauseous.

My go to meal lately has been half an avocado with a soft poached egg on top and a pinch of Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper.

Take a look at Elli Quark instead yogurt or Greek yogurt. It has fewer calories (80) and higher protein (14g). It is available online and Hy-Vee stores in my area. It is available in 12 flavors.

I know you are looking for food ideas, put if the real issue is Protein shakes are your best bet. The Premier Protein shakes have 30g per 11oz bottle. I drink two a day and that gets me to 60. Anything else I get from from is just a bonus at that point.
