I have UHC....It took one day for the approval. I was at 58% BMI and my primary physician referred me to my Surgeon. It did take me 2 months to the day to get in for surgery though.

    10 days totalI think it was submitted on a Friday and then I was approved on the Wednesday I found the 2nd week. I did call the day my doc said it was submitted to make sure they had it and it was in. Also called the nurse line to let them know it was submitted. Not sure if that helped it move along but I wanted to make sure it was on progress
