I've been waiting for years to have this surgery. I finally got all my papers in and I have my first appointment on the 29th with Dr. Dominguez and the nutritionist in Covington, LA. I am going through Medicaid. Then she's gonna submit my paperwork. I pray it gets approved.

Did you need 6 visits with the nutritionist ? Medicaid in Va requires ,is it different state to state ?

I need 6 nutrition based visits with my doctor, a special letter from my doctor, and EKG with cardiovascular clearance, ABG, respiratory test, TSH levels and I think that was it. I'm nervous because I don't know much of anything about the surgeon.
