Need to get my A1C below 9 in 6 weeks

I have flown through all my visits and I know surgery is very close BUT I have to get my A1C down to 9. It was 12 on 7/28.

Any suggestions? I'm on insulin, taking metformin watching what I eat and exercising.

    That's a big jump in 6 weeks. A1C gives a number based on values over several months. Good luck!!!

    I'm not an endocrinologist- maybe try asking yours- if you have one- the best way to tank that number in short order?
