Hospital stay: what should I take with me?

Apologies if this has already been covered (I'm sure it has) but I am trying to figure out exactly what I should take with me to the hospital?

I'm getting gastric sleeve surgery on 21st September 2016.

Would love to hear what pre-op and especially post-op people pack/packed in their bags? Was there anything you packed but didn't really need? Is there anything you wished you had with you but didn't think to take?

Looking forward to getting some ideas!

    Moisturizer for face

    Lip balm

    Eye/sleeping mask

    Phone and earbuds

    Robe

    Pillow

    Hand lotion

    Wore comfy clothes and soft bra to wear there and back

    Didn't use phone charger because all I did was sleep and walk

    I was outpatient too like Loopylulu but I did bring super comfy, baggy clothes to wear on the ride home and a pillow to hold against my stomach during the ride. That pillow helped on a bumpy road! :) Good luck your date is almost here. :D
