Tomorrow is my big day

So, tomorrow is my big day. I have been thinking a great deal about my dysfunctional lifelong relationship with food and struggle with my weight. I am extremely happy about having taken this step, but approach tomorrow with great trepidation, mixed with a significant amount of relief.

My surgery will be on an outpatient basis. Today is actually the first day that I am fasting, as my (highly experienced) surgeon does not espouse the two week pre-op fast. I just pray that everything goes well, that there are no complications and that I do not experience excessive nausea or pain.

Your encouragement, suggestions and recommendations would be most welcome. I am glad that I have found this forum, which is very helpful to me. Thank you, all.
