I've noticed after only one month, that my face appears thinner and my double chin is going away. Yay me!

What was your very first NSV that you can remember? I can't wait to have one.

I was able to ride in a 4D roller coaster simulator ride with my son and the 5 pt harness fit with room to spare! That was right before my surgery but I had lost 50 lbs. Then after surgery, being able to cross my legs.

I'm still pre-surgery but I bought a pair of jeans right before I started this journey on May 11. I put them on this morning and they almost fell off. I'm down 16 pounds, I took them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them. I'm starting to go through my closet to see what I haven't worn in a while that might fit now! :)

Sounds great! I lost about 40 before my surgery which was last week. I've already started a very large pile of clothes that are too big. Trying to decide between donating and going to a consignment store so I could at least get a few dollars back. And I'm checking out smaller sizes at Goodwill to get me through the next months when everything will be changing quite a bit. I love this idea for a topic NSV!

Hey peeps...

Just wanted to share my NSV for today..

I went shopping today and saw this pretty top.. there was only one size left, i picked it up and looked at it and thought what a shame its too small... i walked around a little more and picked it up again.. and then thought why not, ill try it on anyway since i was going to the change room anyway to try on other tops.

On the way to the change room i was trying to justify to myself to buy it and that maybe one day i would be able to fit into it.. in a few months..

So i get to the change rooms and put it on and guess what! It was way to big... so big in fact that it looked horrible!

So yay to me!.. this sleeve of mine is finally working!

Now my brain just needs to catch up with my body

Two that I never get tired of:

1. The way all 36" waist pants just fit (some a little loose). When I wore 44" pants, I'd have to try on a dozen different brands to find one that fit (no, 46's didn't fit well either). Now all just fit!

2. When I eat out I order anything I want knowing my sleeve won't let me eat more than 8 ounces. My favorite is fish and chips. I eat about 6 ounces of fish and 2 ounces of chips - then I'm done and I start passing food to everyone else.

So sweet!

Wow! I'm also 3 weeks yesterday and I haven't worn many pants bc the band hurts my incisions. The ones I did wear I'm in the same size

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
