My weight loss journey.. gastric bypass

My name is karly .. I am 21 years old and had gastric bypass on 06/13/2016 weighing 250 pounds.. After waking up from surgery, I was in alot of pain and was very uncomfortable for 2 weeks straight . Finally after two and a half weeks my stomach did not feel so horrible. Yay! Tomorrow will mark three weeks post op and now weigh 224 pounds. Unfortunately for some reason one of my incisions is showing signs of being infected, and now on heavy antibiotics to stop it from spreading! Pray is does not go to far deep or spreads to my other incisions. I will be updating pictures semi monthly or monthly .. love to hear story's and learn new recipes ! ( on the right was taking the night before I started my liquid diet .. and on the left was today 7/3/16) post-293530-14676086338396_thumb.jpg

Congratulations on your weight loss thus far. After you come off the antibiotics remember to take some Probiotics to reestablish the colony of good bacteria in your gut. Here is my experience with RNY surgery. http://www.breadandbutterscience.com/Surgery.pdf I have included some recipes in the back once you get a little further along.
