Unless you have complications, you should do just fine using your PCP for follow-up. Your PCP can order the blood work that you need and see you for regular weigh-ins and health checks.

I have submitted this question to my coordinator, she has not yet responded, what type of blood work would need to be ordered? Just curious. Thanks so much for your response.

Usually just blood work to check for Vitamins and mineral deficiencies.
