9 days post op feeling more pain than a couple days ago

Hi all! I was sleeved June 15th. I was in a good amount of pain for the first 5-6 days but started to feel better each day after that. Starting yesterday I have been in more pain. It's not sharp pain or excruciating more like soreness so I have not called my dr but I have been doing more since my husband went back to work and I'm a stay at home mom. I have been lifting my 1 1/2 year old when I have to and she is 25lbs. My dr gave me a limit of 20lbs. So I guess what I'm asking is has anyone else had more pain after a week or should I start to worry that I gave myself a hernia?

Wow 20 lbs! My doctor gave me a limit of 10 lbs for the first 6 weeks. I would call your doctor since you are having new pain. They may be able to just ease your mind
