I'm having RNY in August.

I had the lapband from 2011 to 2013. Now having gastric bypass on June16th. My band is already out but the dr is still calling it a revision. I have started my preop diet. On week two but this week is only 3 shakes a day and liquids. I'm 5 days away from surgery!

I had gastric bypass on 6/27. I had my horrible band removed 18 months ago due to complications. So far I am 14lbs down.

My doctor said because I previously had the band that my weight loss would be slower than people who had not had a band. So far I'm losing 3-4 lbs per week.

Slow and steady wins the race!
