I'm new. waiting for my sleeve surgery

Hi everyone. I'm a very shy person and I'm new here.

I'm a mother of 3 wonderful devilish angels[emoji23] .

Waiting for my gastric sleeve surgery, I'm scared and excited at the same time.

Im not telling anyone about this. Just my husband and parents because no one understands that this is something really serious and hard. And unlike everyone else thinks, it's not cheating [emoji35].

I came here because I desperately need the support. I'm soooooo scared.

Wish I had the courage....

You are in the right place. Just keep in mind as you ask questions that opinions and tact will vary, but we mean well.

I didn't tell anyone except my hubby and parents either.. I finally told my brothers and my sister-in-law and a very few friends, but not until I had already had my sleeve done. I was surprised (happily) how supportive they all were. And if anyone actually knew all the steps in the process that we have to go through, before qualifying for surgery, they'd never think of it as "cheating" or the easy way out-- ever! Best of luck to you :) This is a great place to find support, advice and info!
