Weird pain 1 1/2 years post op

I had my surgery in Oct 2014. I get this weird pain that feels like a pulled muscle on my left side just below my ribs. At first I let it go because I was working out regularly with a personal trainer so I believed it was a strained muscle. Then it continued and I was eating a lot of peanuts so thought maybe I was having problems digesting the peanuts. Fast forward a few moths no peanuts, haven't been working out (I know I need to get back on that lol) and I still have this pain that comes and goes. Anyone else have this? Know what it could be?
