I freeze Protein Shakes and eat them like ice cream. Torani syrups and different Protein powders lend themselves to unlimited flavors....chocolate Peanut Butter, vanilla almond, chocolate hazelnut, banana nut, caramel red velvet cake, cake batter and cookie dough, strawberry, raspberry cake, Irish cream, peppermint, vanilla coconut.....mmmmmm.

I've done that with the protein shakes! Lol. Ice cream was just one of my favorites before sleeve and probably was a huge contribution to my diabetes. I don't crave sweets yet and I think it would make me want more. It's an easy "treat" to not get full on but not enough nutrition for me and too much sugar (even sugar alcohols count to me as sugar).

Good things come to good people.

I think someone had mentioned a recipe for Protein ice cream in another post.. Try searching for that.

I am not that much of a sweet tooth, but ice cream and popsicles are my archille's heel! i have had some and it was waay too easy going down. So its something i think i will have to say goodbye to for now. I ordered a Frozen Yoghurt Maker so ill try my hand at those with all my own ingredients.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
