holiday after gastric balloon

How much time would you leave between balloon insertion and going on an overseas holiday (4 hour flight).

I think the first month is the hardest, although my experience was not typical. So at least a month is my opinion.

I have heard of some people taking a long trip within a week or two and doing just fine, but I would not recommend it. I would give it AT LEAST two weeks, more like four, just to be safe. And some people take longer to adjust, needing more like two months. But I would think that a month would be good for most people. Good luck!

My doctor told me not to travel for 4-6 weeks.
