Standing to Eat

I had lap-band surgery a year ago, now in the last few weeks I have to stand up to eat or I feel like the food or drink is stuck causing me to burp outrageously or throw up, mostly foam but also some food. I have not had a fill since September, also I get a sharp pain where the lap-band is when I bend over, any ideas what's going on? Thanks very much for any input!!

Though I'm not an expert I have had a similar experience even long after the band was tightened. It sounds as if it may be too tight and needs some saline taken out, sometimes they even have an air bubble stuck in there like mine did which is a problem. If it continues to cause irritation and discomfort I strongly recommend contacting your surgeon or clinic before it get's worse and causes swelling/ pouch dilation!
