5 days post op and feeling great!

I had surgery on May 26th. The first two days were pretty rough but I am feeling much better. Still a little weak but excited to start this new life. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive on this sight. I have started cottage cheese and some strained soups. Any other suggestions on this soft liquid diet phase?

I am checking with my nutritionist to see if I can eat potato flakes, I love mashed potatoes and I can put protein powder on them hopefully

My NUT told me to avoid carby things like mashed potatoes so that I don't start the carb addiction again after surgery.

Have you tried eggface's ricotta bake? It's so good! Also, Hummus is wonderful, and around here I can get different flavors. Black Beans pureed with a little cheese on top heated up... really any bean pureed except high sugar baked beans.
