Women on BCP after surgery

Hello. I was just sleeved almost 2 wks ago. On another group someone was saying that if you are on the pill it's harder to lose weight. Can any veterans shed some light on this? I have been on the pill for almost 6 yrs and I am praying that it's not going to make it harder for me to lose.

idk about the pill... i have the implant (nexplanon) and have had no problems losing weight. i have PCOS and hypothyroidism, so bcp or SOME kind of bc is necessary for me and weight loss has always been super hard.

I actually stall out when I am off my birth control for whatever reason. Most people I've met actually have better results while on birth control. Then again, I and many of these women have PCOS just like @@SweetPotato so it may be different for you if you do not have any hormone issues.
