What do you tell people at work

Recommended Posts

I wish I hadn't said anything!

They watch everything I eat and questions during lunch.< /p>

This one lady is like what are you eating?

Can you eat that?

You can eat?

Are you full?

I want to scream and tell her ragedy arse to shut the fup and go play on the freeway!

One of the ladies here had the surgery and she f++cks with me about the Protein I have.

Her ideal lunch is pop,ice cream sandwich and crackers with butter, soup all in the same sitting!

Her Breakfast is bacon, hasbrowns with philidelphia cream cheese, butter.

She even puts whipped cream in her coffee!

She is a junk food junkie.

She always has something in her mouth.

I guess since she has lost 60 pounds in three years with the band she feels as though she is an expert.

I dont mind advice but if you are setting bad examples yourself your advice sucks!

Even my so called friend says little chit like oh you can eat now or you can eat that even though she knows I'm drinking.

She knows I cant eat and drink at the same time.

I'm getting to the point where I am going to start having my lunch alone!!!!!!!!!

I tell everyone who will listen...LOL. As far as how much I lost, it wasn't as much as I thought at my first fill, but I was getting compliments long before that. Good enough for me! My friend on the other hand is keeping it a huge secret and I have to be careful to not include her in my conversations when she's around. I don't understand the secrecy, but I respect her for it regardless.

My BF had RNY 3 months prior to me. The office staff had commented on how she is losing weight. I finally confessed to office staff that I had been following the same program as her and that I would be banded in a few months. They were all very supported. The girl I share an office with even did the 2 week liquid diet with me. I had a lot if support. Do you have at least one good friend at work you can trust?:guess

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
