A Letter To New York Future Sleevers!

*To start off, I have no affiliation with the hospital or doctor mentioned below, I just want to help people in NY who are looking for a great place or surgeon.*

I had my gastric sleeve surgery done on April 11th of this year. My surgeon was Dr. Allison Barret over at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish in Forrest Hills, Queens.

She also lectures at Hoftra school of Medicine. She made my experience amazing. Following surgery, she answered every email I sent her about various questions that came up within the hour. I was very impressed with this, being surgeons are very busy people.

I can honestly say, out of all the surgeons I consulted with before surgery, Dr. Allison Barret seemed like the most caring for the patients. I am very happy with my choice, and would highly recommend her to anyone in New York. I have a follow up with her coming up, and I will definitely be taking a small token of appreciation for her. She has changed my life!

Has anyone else had surgery in lij in Forrest Hills? If so, was it with Dr. Allison Barret? I would love to link up with others who had the same exact path as me!

Best,

Sanju
