I'm nearing the end of the process now and will hopefully be having my surgery in June, but if you can help it, stay away from Hartford Hospital. I've never really had experience with hospitals before, so maybe they're all like this, but the amount of feet-dragging, bureaucratic nonsense, and red tape make the whole process seem amateurish. I won't get into the nitty-gritty, but my case wouldn't be getting anywhere if I wasn't calling them three times a week asking for an update. So if you feel like babysitting your insurance case this is the place for you.
