Follow my journey for my May 16th surgery @dear.amanda on Instagram

I'm documenting my weight loss journey on Instagram @dear.amanda.

Im a veteran, mother, wife and student. Early this year I decided I wanted to live life. I didn't wanna be held back because of my weight. I have struggled the last three years with my weight. I don't wanna be another statistic. Also I wanna find a few buddies who are going to be having surgery around the same time as me.

May 16th ... T-minus 8 more days

Hey surgery buddy! Mine's the 16th too! I have an Instagram as well, but I'm documenting my journey on my blog, lifeasateeshirt.wordpress.com. There's a whole thread of us May 16ers here on the forums http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/366513-may-16th-surgery-buddieslets-do-this-together/%C2'> Join us, come say hello! :)

Okay! I mosied my butt over to Instagram and followed you. I love the thought of expanding our support networks to blogs, vlogs, and other social media outlets. I have a blog for my story as well, it's: https://thefabulousfatfish.wordpress.com
