I'm also trying to figure out what full feels like, I get burpy every time I swallow I'm (1 week post op) so maybe still gas? I did feel like a rock/ knot stuck at the end of my esophagus type of feeling for a few seconds and I'm wondering if that's it? Time will tell! :)

I'm six days post-op and have four more days on Clear Liquids then another ten days on full liquids. It is amazing to me how much difference there may be between post-op diet plans.

Very true @@Kooky1 By day 3 I was on full liquids, by 9 puréed/soft, and at my two week follow up I was allowed to start incorporating regular foods. I guess it's all in how they were trained, and how well things are progressing.

I am actually experiencing this right now. I am 5 months out and, pretty religiously, weigh everything because I still cannot "eyeball" 4 oz. Tonight I had my usual size piece of salmon and made some guacamole as well. I, of course, forgot about the whole taste testing actually counts as food:) Halfway through my salmon, I started to get that over stuffed Thanksgiving day feeling that then generates pain in my upper back. Very uncomfortable.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
