Looking for Friends in the Tampa Bay Area/questions

Hey guys and gals,

I am hoping to have my surgery (sleeve) next month. I was medically cleared and visit my surgeon for the 1st time tomorrow. I am so nervous as to what to expect tomorrow ..when you met your surgeon what happened? What was the process? Also I live in Tampa bay and would love to make some friends who just had or are about to have the sleeve! Thank you so much! :-)

Hi,

I am 5 days post op. No regrets, although I feel a bit emotional every now and then, guessing it's the drugs and the trauma to the body.

Pain has been less than expected, although it is painful in the larger incision where the stomach is removed through.

The initial visit to the surgeon was great, mine is very friendly and I was not high risk at BMI 37. Good visit with dietician, which is the most important part of it, to know what you can eat etc.

I was in hospital 4 nights, didn't want to rush home. Being home near the kitchen yesterday made me think of food.

Taking one day at a time.

All the best!!
