I'm proud of all you guys who have plastics.

Just not sure it's for me.

@@VSGAnn2014 It's defiantly a personal decision to make. It wasn't an easy one for me either. I'm so glad I did it now but it was extremely stressful. I wouldn't want to go through that whole stress induced waiting for surgery day process again. If I have anything else done I will be more happy about it because it will be something I'm excited about. I don't fear any other plastics like I feared this Tummy Tuck.

Day 3 before and after! I'm completely off the pain pills and in my own bed!! I'm extremely swollen all the way down my legs but the results are absolutely amazing to me! I still can't believe it. I have curves and definition already even with all the swelling. I wanted curvy! I took her a picture and told her I wanted curves not just flat. She did exactly what I asked for and made my curves!! Think belly dancer. :) I'm going to be working on those legs once I'm healed!

I would show you guys my lift because she did an amazing job with it, it took her the longest to do but I don't think I'm allowed to show that much on here.

You look amazing and sound so upbeat. A quick run-through revealed the fainting episode and I hope that was the only bad thing.

I've wondered for some time and will take the opportunity to ask now. Are the drain tubes for the purpose of draining the Fluid that tends to accumulate around surgical incisions? I had no drain for my atypical appendectomy incision (a vertical cut just along the right side of my belly button, starting 2-3 inches above and about 7-8 inches long (the surgeon was doing exploratory as well as taking the appendix). I was out at a class while I still had sutures and, while there, found the front of my pants wet with Fluid seeping out the suture holes.

@@WLSResources/ClothingExch This particular drain is placed between the layer of skin and stomach muscles they dissected to catch and Fluid that could accurate between the layers.

So help me understand, because if I do this I want similar results as yours.....which are amazing, by the way.

Did you have an abdominoplasty just without the muscle repair or just a panniculectomy?

I'm worried if I have just the panniculectomy I'll have some hanging skin in my higher stomach still creating that "dog ear" effect. You know what I mean?

@@Babbs I went in for a full Tummy Tuck but once she got under the skin she realized I didn't need the MR part so she didn't do that part of the procedure. It's rare that that happens. I guess I'm considered "lucky" because it made the process far less painful and my recovery is practically over as far as any pain. I will show you my boobs! Inbox!

I want to see any pics you have! You look sooo good! And I'm so happy you didn't have much pain! Also, can I ask how tall you are and your starting weight if it's not too personal? Just wondering how your end results would potentially compare to me (knowing of course that everyone is different).

@@Babbs I inboxed you. So yes TT without the MR. I'm not sure how that correlates with a panniclectomy. I'm not sure how exactly that procedure is performed.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
