Who else got sleeved on the 28th of march?

Glad everyone is doing well. I am down 70 lbs. I went on vacation for a week and didn't do too well with alcohol and some of my food choices but I'm back on track now and I think those extra calories will actually help my weight loss as I'm returning to my regular eating this week. I am 40 lbs away from a normal bmi and 70 away from goal.. hope to hear from more of you!

how did everyone do with the 4th of july weekend!? I did not do so great =/ had a few things I was not supposed to eat! The scale said i gained 4 pounds from Friday-Tuesday. I doubt that is actually possible. I guess I will see over the next couple days!. Ugh holidays suck now.

I did ok. I have found the key for me is activity. If I have no/little activity I lose very slowly. Once I increase my activity, it seems to fall off quickly. One would think that would be great motivation, but the morning rolls around and the last thing I want to do is get dressed and go for a walk. Have to find a better motivator!

4th of July didn't go so well for me, had a few chips and guacamole and a couple bites of a pupusa. Since my vacation a week ago I haven't lost. I'm up 1 lb from when I left but hoping it'll come off. It's weird bc I'm trying to get back on track today with my routine but I feel hungrier than I did before and it scares me.

I'm down between 75-80lbs. Been in a bit of a stall/slow down the past week. I think that this is because I ramped up my exercise and activity a bit and my body is re-adjusting. Increased time and resistance on elliptical and increased reps on weights. Also started painting my condo.

Wow is it only me or does it get harder and harder to lose as the weeks go on. I just hit 186 - only 36 more pounds to my goal, and 46 to my stretch goal. Is anyone else less than 50 pounds away from goal and having a tough time losing even only after 3 months? You think this is just a stall? Am I freaking out for no reason?

How is everyone doing? Just had my 4th monthly follow up with the programs APRN. We set a goal for me to be below 300lbs by my six month follow up with the surgeon.

I'm super thrilled with my progress so far. Lots of little NSVs lately, fitting in chairs/cars way easier now, my thighs are starting to look noticeably smaller when sitting down. I had to add notches to my belts the other day.

Sounds like you are doing great! Congrats on the NSVs!

I've had a few NSVs myself. I had been stalled for the past three weeks, but finally broke through earlier this week. I not only hit a total of 50 pounds down, but I'm now at my lowest weight since 2003!! It's feels great!

I also got a sleeve on Mon. the 28th. They did a revision on me from the band to the sleeve. I think I'm doing ok, I am also having trouble getting enough liquids in. I feel full so easily. Also, do you know if it is normal to feel chilled all the time unless I have a ton of blankets on. My incisions are not infected, they seem fine, I know that is a symptom of infection. I'm sore also, but nothing I can't tolerate. I can't bend over and pick up anything from the floor and I hate sleeping on my back, but it is too uncomfortable to even try. Each day I'm sure will get better...I hope!

I still get chilled from time to time i was sleeved on 4/5/16 and my body still gets cold.....its summertime but i need a light sweater in the evening or covers on me lol

I have become a freeze baby! I am always bringing a sweater with me because when I go into a/c I am freezing. Sometimes I go sit outside in the Texas heat to warm up. Mr laughs as he is sitting there sweating I am covered with a blanket. Asked a friend of mine whose husband had a sleeve done a couple of years ago. He does not feel hot like he used to - she is now the one asking for the a/c, not him! lol

I think it is that when we were heavier we were always hot because of the extra adipose tissue. Now that is going away and we are feeling colder. Less insulation now than we had before.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
