@@Fat2Phat2016 and @@Fatty McFatster,

You're proud of each other for your challenge results and I'm proud of both of you. You two are still my best date in ages. If I ever get to your part of the world, I hope we can say "Hey!" Same holds if y'all get to my part of the world.

FMcF, I'm glad you're coming along.

I was able to get outside on this beautiful day and go for a short walk. Haven't been able to walk for a week and a half.

I couldn't walk far because the stent causes pain, but thankfully they are going to take it out on Tuesday.

I'm so tired, but I haven't slept all night. My mind is racing, legs jumping, and heart pounding.

Just read that they are some of the side effects from my diuretic, so I'll gladly deal with them since they are better than the previous alternative.

Hope you get to put all of this behind you soon. It is terrible when you are taking drugs for one thing and they cause other problems.

Happy to hear you are having good weight loss results with the Water pill. Not so good about the side effects . But like you said they are better than the weight gain. So glad you felt well enough today to get out for a bit of a walk. Once that stent is gone and your back feeling like yourself again I am sure you will be back to walking like you use to.

Can't wait to get this stent out. I have absolutely no energy and I'm very weak.

Went for a short hike today. First time I've exercised in 2 weeks.

I get my stent out tomorrow. Not looking forward to the retrieval seek and find process... LOL... but looking forward to having it out of me.

Glad to hear it! how did they feel you are doing with healing up?

They think I'm healing well. However, I was just informed today that I have a hole in my ureter tube caused by the laser used during kidney stone surgery 2 weeks ago.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
